It's Packers Week at Go Long...
What a fascinating offseason it's been in Green Bay. And with camp rapidly approaching, there's still no resolution at QB. We'll give the Packers a full week of coverage right here. Details inside.
The conspiracy theorist in us all has to think this is exactly what the NFL wanted, right?
Again and again, for months, Aaron Rodgers dominated the news cycle over the NBA Playoffs, the NHL Playoffs, anything baseball and anything golf… unless Rodgers was, of course, involved in that golf match. Otherwise, it’s been a relatively tame NFL offseason. Drama is the name of the game every (insane) NBA offseason. Surely, Roger Goodell hasn’t been too upset that his league MVP is still dragging this on.
Training camp is now two weeks away. It’s getting real.
And considering we have quite a bit of Packers fans subscribed to this newsletter, I figured we’d devote a week here to those Packers.

Here’s what’s cooking…
Tuesday: Discussion Board with Subscribers
We’ll hold a day-long “Discuss” conversation here on all things Packers with the full subscribers, sharing everything we’re hearing. Love hearing from you.
Wednesday: Who is the next undrafted star?
No team in the NFL has relied on undrafted players quite like the Packers, back to Ryan Grant, Tramon Williams and Sam Shields a decade ago to Robert Tonyan and Allen Lazard now. So, who’s next? We chatted at length with the player who could bust onto the scene in 2021.
Thursday: Meet the Most Interesting Man in Green Bay
Very quickly, he has become one of the most beloved members of this team. Who is it? Why is this the case?
Friday: Why Jordan Love is ready
Nobody knows if Rodgers will return as the starter in Green Bay but bank on this: Love is ready. For subscribers only, read why Friday AM with all of the latest news surrounding this all.
Friday PM: Happy Hour!
We’ll be back at it this Friday night with a Packers-related special guest to be announced soon. As always, subscribers can log in and hang out with a current or former NFL player each week. (It’d be great to meet you, too.)
We’ve got more logs on the fire, too, so be sure to keep the email refreshed and/or check out GoLongTD.com throughout the week.
Thank you, everyone.
And thank you for sharing with a friend. We don’t rely on advertisers or corporations here. Go Long is completely powered by you, and we’ll always strive to deliver independent, authentic pro football journalism. Email us any time at golongtd@gmail.com, as well.
