Bob McGinn's Top 100
Our resident draft expert has placed first in The Huddle Report’s Top 100 board contest five times. Here's McGinn's entry for 2024.
By Bob McGinn
Here is my first and only listing of how I’m projecting the first 100 players to be selected Thursday and Friday in the NFL draft.
Players are listed from best to worst within each position group.
This also will serve as my entry into The Huddle Report’s Top 100 board contest. According to THR, these scores have become the standard by which draft publications, sites and media personnel are measured.
Since first entering the contest in 2009 my board has finished first five times (2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, 2022) and tied for second twice (2010, 2020). In terms of five-year averages (2019-’23), mine ranks third with an average of 85.2.
This is the third time I’ve represented Tyler Dunne’s GoLongTD.com. There were 64 entrants last year when I tied for 21st with 82. The winning total was 86.

Bob McGinn’s 40th annual draft series…
Part 1, WR/TE: Hall of Fame talent at the top, then (many) questions
Part 3, QB: Gap between Caleb Williams & Jayden Daniels? Closer than you think...
Tomorrow: Specialists
Features…
‘Weapon:’ Why Jaylen Wright is the best running back in the draft
'Built different:' Why David White Jr. is this year's WR steal
Wait...what about the specialists? Especially long-snappers!
Seriously, though, as a Packer fan we can more or less eliminate 67 of these from the Packers' board, as they most likely won't take any of them. If Bob hits at a 100% success rate (which I'm sure will happen), then GB would get 5 of the other 33. Those are good odds.
