The Packers are in disarray - the coaching gulf between them and other contenders is too great to overcome - Lafleur admitted his time out mistake at the end and admitted his defensive coordinator blew the call on the Bears third down pass that enabled the winning field goal. The special teams coach apparently had never seen the Bears run the same punt return trick against Green Bay about 10 years ago (called back on a phantom holding call). With the Detroit, Minnesota, or Philly coaching staff they might have a small chance, but not with what they have now. The talent is there but not the coaching required for greatness.
Mildly shocked that the Giants GM and head coach are going to be back in 2025. Mara gave those two guys the keys three years ago, and after all that ugly losing in the last two years, ownership doesn’t have the smarts to take those keys away.
"Let’s put some respect on Todd Bowles’ name. All he’s done is devise the gameplan that ate Patrick Mahomes alive in one Super Bowl and lead the Bucs to the playoffs three years in a row as the head coach."
Yup, although the TB KC game was really about both KC OTs going down at the end of the season. Kudos to Bowles for nailing both of his recent OC picks.
WAS desperately needs Lattimore for this game. And getting Allen back might be the fix the Was run D needs.
How Payton attacks the BUF D will be fascinating to watch. And whether Joseph is able to pin Allen in the pocket. Once he breaks contain you're screwed.
Thuney at LT has actually stabilized the KC oline. That plus Hollywood really upgrades the offense.
One of the Pit or Bal coaching staffs is going to be catching serious heat come Sunday morning. If good Pickens shows up Pit has a chance with Bal likely being without Flowers. Great point about Watt looking dinged recently.
Stafford has looked awful the last few weeks. I don't know what happened to Kupp recently but he's disappeared. It helps MIN that LAR aren't a heavy man/blitz team.
Assuming Hurts plays GB's season ended with the Watson injury. He's Love's mental security blanket and also opens up all the underneath stuff.

I'd keep them, at least Daboll.
They are really about to begin year 2 of their rebuild in 2025.
