For me there is a symbiotic relationship with Bills fans. It's not just the ice and snow. Their team often reminds me of the Packers over the past several seasons. Aging and fading roster, plus average players filling just enough important roster spots to affect the tipping-point of games. Their bye comes at just the right time to rest and regroup as needed. This is the time for their team to begin the process of peaking when it matters the very most. The playoffs approach. The first half of their season is now a bag of ashes. Their QB is too good to write them off this early. He's not the problem anyway. It's the others around him that need to step-up consistently. Coaching too. As the Packers proved time and again, Rodgers and Adams could carry them only so far. Same situation with Allen and Diggs. Significantly, they'll need that help. Can they get it is the question.

The Chiefs winning would be no surprise at all. The Packers winning is not an impossibility either. The majority of previews for this game discuss the passing game battle, especially comparing Mahomes and Kelce plus their chemistry vs Love and whomever is healthiest from his very young and inexperienced receiving corps. My take is different. Rain/snow, cold, and a slick field point more towards the benefits of emphasizing the running game for either team. Neither is exactly a juggernaut defending against it. Better to take advantage of the field conditions than to fight against them.
