A team captain (Dion Dawkins) and a team legend (Darryl Talley) help connect the past with the present to explain how the Bills are one win away from the Super Bowl.
I’m so glad someone went deeper on what it means to build “culture” with examples. I usually reflex from the journalistic cop-out that is pinning anything and everything on “culture”. But in this case, the people, personalities, timing, mentality and the moment in time the league is having right now could be what make this uniquely the Bills’ time. Could they do it without knowing the sting of 7-9, 9-7 and 6-10 seasons? Maybe so, but it goes a long way in making them America’s favorite team this season. They also have an undeniable extra motivator in fan angst that other teams don’t have. From the outside, it feels a lot like the 2016 WS champion Cubs overcoming the long-suffering post 2003 Bartman Ball incident and previous 109 years of bad luck. These are all powerful things that only work through careful orchestration.
Another excellent article Ty! Thanks ! Go Bills! 👍🏻👍🏻😊🏈
Nice job with this! Go Bills!
