The League is concerned that the impasse between the Jets and the Packers is bad for the league and Roger Godell wants you to decide fair compensation for Aaron. Your decision is final. What do you think is a fair deal for both sides?
I like number 12… I respect him. I think he’s a Hall of Fame choice obviously… But I wonder if Tyler or someone else who is a scribe will PLEASE follow up on the off the field misinformation he shares with the public at his lectures online with the YouTube show from the former colts punter… I’m talking about his misinformation related to what he calls Big Pharma, and some kind of conspiracy it has to hurt people …..& he has highlighted this false myth with his comments in the YouTube McAffrey & Hawk weekly show. Mike Florio wrote one column about it to expose this misinformation.
But I will hope that the New York media will ask number 12 about this after he is formally introduced to the public when the trade is consummated.
The false Big Pharma snafu that he expounds is related to his lies about being vaccinated, and allowing himself to be in violation of the team, and NFL rules for a long time during the height of the crisis of the Covid era.
Sorry for the long comment… But he’s an example for millions of people and many believe what he says in several areas… So to provide misinformation is hurtful to people’s health if they believe his wrong opinions that are NOT supported by unbiased research studies.
I am on a roll this morning. Just trying to put off shoveling this morning.
You written pieces critical of Rodgers here and on the Bleacher Report. What was your relation like with him when you were with the Journal Sentinel? Do you think his personality has changed over the years?
You have met a lot of people in your career. Who are some of the best people you have met, the kind of people who you say " The World would be a better place if there were more people like --- or ---.
This can be players, coaches, journalists, whatever.
Name some of the best run organizations in the league- some of the most poorly run organizations in the league?
Everyone talks about the best moves. How about the worst off-season move so far. My money is on the Panthers trade with the Bears. Simply because they could have got Lamar instead with an otherwise pretty good roster
Assuming that Jordan Love turns out to be a top-15 QB, should the Packers use a "go for it" Rams-style model after the 2023 cap-strapped season, or a "contend every year" model like Ted Thompson employed?
Dave, please note that Green Bay will not have money until 2025 or beyond to begin employing all in strategies including signing expensive veteran unrestricted free agents. Currently the gamble with number 12 lost the team for 2023 and 2024 with signing quality unrestricted veterans free agents.
Rodgers has been averse to working out with new receivers off-season. He’s no Mahomes. The delay in closing the deal is a left-handed benefit for him. Same old approach, same old results. But he can blame the Packers if it comes down to the Jets having a slow start this season before they gel, if ever. As the de-facto GM of the Jets he may not yet have all the preferred pieces in place for HIS signature offense. Boom or bust for the Jets this season, and what’s the over/under before the NY media finally turns on him?
Great stuff, everyone. We got a ton of email submissions, too. I'll be getting to the mailbag answers this week -- thank you!!

Look's like you could use a few more questions.
