Great story, kudos Tyler! Terry does media so infrequently it’s fascinating to get more of a peek behind the current.

I’ve always liked Pegula and appreciate what he’s done for WNY. Thank for this, Ty.

Phenomenal story, Tyler. You are the man... quite the talent to get him to open up how he did. Cheers!

Terry has built a beautiful new stadium which is the anchor in Buffalo for now. But it's up to Josh to win a Super Bowl to bolt the franchise into the Niagara bedrock for good.

Well done! Bravo! Phenomenal read, thank you for giving us a peek 👀 behind the curtain!

So what would have happened if Pegula's main rival bidder for the Bills - a certain Donald J Trump - had prevailed?

Probably he would have built a new stadium down by the Buffalo waterfront. And all of the bathrooms would be marble with gold plated toilet seats. And he'd spend most of his time picking fights in Twitter with other franchise owners.

Hey, that wouldn't have been so bad!

Trump finished dead last in a three horse race. Pegula’s biggest competition was from the Toronto/Bon Jovi group. I will give Trump credit for one thing — he absolutely kneecapped that group and made it impossible for them to be accepted.

Trump never would’ve built a new stadium here, because other cities would certainly outbid Buffalo, and taking a lesser deal to keep them here would’ve branded him — in his mind — as a sucker and a loser.

Another BANGER! Need to pushback a bit on the public financing that gets used so a billionaire can make even more money. If these owners want new stadiums they should foot the bill for the entire project. Don’t get me started on PSL’s. What does that really get you? It’s not like If Taylor Swift has a concert there you get a ticket for owning that seat. 283 million went right back into his pocket. The whole thing is a scam. I like he’s committed to Buffalo because he surely could’ve moved the team for big money.

Criticizing him for making money while applauding him for not making more money is interesting.

I never criticized him for making money I just said he should have used his money to build the stadium. I should have clarified the PSL sentence because the NFL made that up and all owners profit from them.

Great story but still a massive subsidy from ny state to buffalo . Most taxpayers live 400 miles from this stadium
