Homeless as a child, the Bills rookie is loving life in WNY. But the thing is? Ray Davis never wants to change: “I didn’t get here off luck. I got here off straight grinding my ass.”
The Bills ~ Beane, McDermott ~ the Scouts know how to evaluate talent. They bring in players with character, talent and character. It says so much about the Bills "culture" ~ it's real and felt by the other players on the team. Ray Davis is a perfect fit for Buffalo and the Bills !!
I just got a chance to read this story after a busy holiday weekend and... damn ...what a story. So much more to the person then you get from a 10 second mention during a telecast. Thanks for the great insight and shedding light on someone who has truly fought to get to this point and can appreciate the value of hard work and self-reliance. Good on you Ray!
I love the multiple nature of their offense, and the backfield duo of James Cook and Ray Davis feels like the beginning of a Jahmyr Gibbs/David Montgomery style combination. Look. Out.
Great story Tyler. I look forward to these popping into my inbox. Keep fighting Ray. I love this back. It's nice to see a rookie come on the team and not have their playing time cut short because of crappy qb protection. I fear for the safety of blitzing corners.

"...this round 5-foot-8, 208-pound mound of pain..."
LOL
I hope he becomes their 3-down RB.
