Go Long chats with the QB handpicked as the post-Jim Kelly savior in Buffalo long ago and, as we find out, there was far more to the Rob Johnson Era than any of us realized.
Great story. I was never a Rob Johnson fan, but eye opening now reading behind the scenes “stuff.” There’s so much more to these guys and thanks for peeling back the layers Tyler.
It’s always great to see these guys happy and doing well post career (especially with his injury history) and at peace with the career they had. This was a cool introspective to what he went through mentally and physically. I was a Flutie guy as a young kid back then, but I’d likely be pro Rob knowing all this or as an adult now watching that unfold.
Being 13-14 during this time period, I remember asking for and getting a Rob Johnson hat for Christmas. The dude could play and was a freak play away from taking the Bills to a Super Bowl. Great article on him.

Thank you so much, Donna! Glad you enjoyed this one.
Rob was an open book on that Happy Hour, too. We'll have to keep bringing him back on the pod. https://www.golongtd.com/p/rob-johnson-tells-all
Great story and article, always rooted for Rob.
