Once we went to OT I knew for a fact we were dead after losing the coin toss. This loss ranked right up there with wide right. Never should have happened.
Excellent article. I always hated the prevent defense. If it was me I would have rushed 6. Have 2 guys on Kelce and Hill and jam them at the line. Plus I would have squib kicked it and run time off the clock.
I remember hearing that one of the biggest things about McDermott was that he was critical, detail oriented and learned from his experiences. One would have to hope that such a blunder helps guide him or the Bills might be in a predicament.
