What's next at Go Long?
April is here. Here's a quick preview of what's on tap.
Good afternoon, readers! I do not have a witty April Fools’ Day joke for you, but here’s the beautiful musical stylings of Jim Croce. Voice of an angel.
A hearty welcome to all our new subscribers. Thrilled to have you.
Figured this would be a swell time to fill everyone in on what’s coming this month at Go Long.
I’ve been chipping away at a project here for a year and cannot wait to share the news with you all. Keep an eye out for an email on this front next Friday.
Jim Monos, my esteemed podcast co-host, has a column up today on the NFL’s March Madness. What a wild month. As the Bills’ former director of personnel, I think you’ll like his unique perspective. Last week, Monos shared some of his best stories from free agency. Next up, for subscribers, he’ll dish on what it’s really like inside a draft war room.
Bob McGinn is bringing his signature, nine-part NFL Draft Series to Go Long this month, a staple in NFL coverage since 1985. McGinn has spent the last several months talking to coaches and scouts from across the entire league to give everyone an unfiltered perspective on this year’s prospects. He got the party started a couple weeks ago. ICYMI, here’s a first look at the top offensive prospects and defensive prospects.
Once more, we sought to put your investment to use with a reporting trip. I cannot thank everyone out there for supporting what we’re building at Go Long. I recently flew to Florida for several feature stories that will roll out over the coming weeks and months.
