Remember watching the start of that 1984 MNF game as a kid. After the first two TDs think I turned it off (probably had to go to bed anyway), thinking it was going to be a 50-0 blowout. Was shocked to hear the final was 17-14.
Same experience here. My dad always gave me the first quarter of a MNF game if I'd eaten a good dinner. The Packers on Monday night was rare as a Packers win in those days and so I got two quarters. What a start....Man I love these podcasts.
