Super Bowl dreams were dashed at home. Just like that. Disappointing as this must be for Dan Campbell's team, our Bob McGinn sees parallels to the 90s Packers.
I subscribed after your Justin Rogers interview, and I’ve got to say that the Ty and Bob podcast has become my favorite football content. Enjoy the pro Campbell pro lions content, but more than that, as I have grown older I’ve come to really appreciate people like Bob who speak with an extreme Midwest accent. His Wisconsin twang is impeccable. I left Michigan for warmer climes when I was 23 but all my family is still there, and the accent just makes me feel like I’m back home, after thanksgiving, hearing a good natured drunk relative from the exurbs, expound about something very important.
Please note as well: as a football content aficionado and an extremely smart and special and humble university of Michigan Grad, I recognize very high level analysis when I hear it. So don’t take the drunk relative comparison as a slight. Wouldn’t listen if I didn’t learn something.
Just figured I’d send along some good vibes, because this is great stuff guys.
I haven't seen them play all that miuch, but it seemed to me that both Goff and the Viking's Darnold are hampered in playoff games, when the pressure is usually turned up, by a less than lighting-fast release and an only so-so ability to deliver accurate passed from a lot of arm angles and without having their feet set. Seems like Mahomes, Daniels, Allen and others have that ability and it often bails them and their teams out.
Key to a happy and fulfilling life: finding someone to share your life with who loves you as much as Ty and Bob love Dan Campbell.

Oh also, not gonna lie, I love hearing former Packers beat writers talking shit about the Packers. Feed that to me 24/7.
Would love to see Bob devote a memory just on Sapp.
