Regarding Romeo, one point that has not been brought up is that maybe he was feeling pressure from his family--and from his LA extended family--about needing to be the Man for that second contract. And maybe that was causing anxiety that Romeo couldn't handle. Like other guys in the locker room, Romeo probably was thinking from time to time that he wanted more looks, and like other guys he didn't say anything. But maybe this 'family issue' that Romeo had referred to was connected to his role in the offense, so more a family issue than a Packer issue, but nonetheless intertwined.
He needs Green Bay because it is low key and has less triggers, and Green Bay needs him because before this week he has been a model carrier of the G and is a very good receiver who is still ascending.
I enjoyed and nodded at the Lacy-Doubs comparison: two of the most intriguing players I've followed on the Pack. And I also enjoyed this exchange below:
"I can't help but think that Romeo for a week....forgot what got him here. If he steps back to who he's always been....he's damn good and the Packers need him." (Ty)
"He's not as good as Robert Brooks...." (Bob stoning Ty after Ty's eloquent finish. Then Bob tosses in Corey Bradford! Haha. How was that the third name that came to Bob's mind? I think Romeo can be better than Jones but my guess is their careers follow a similar trajectory )
That cracked me up, Bob getting right back to all business after Ty's deep and well-considered point. And then dropping in Corey Bradford...must be something to be such a fountain of history.
It's early, and a little hard to gauge because of how widely the ball gets spread around right now, though Reed is getting closer to looking like the No. 1. But indeed Doubs may have a James Jones-like career in GB. Which, if the team is winning, wouldn't be bad at all.

No offense, but he's just a different cat.
Check out the pre/post draft comments.
Hopefully he can/will stay wired enough for a few more years.
its Green 19! according to your old coworker Spoon!
Tyler: You whacked the doe and not the buck? Come on, Man. That was someone’s mother.
I know! Felt like a murderer, Rog, but I had no choice with the 18-wheeler on my ass.
