I wonder if the loss of Poyer/Hyde/White/Morse played a factor here in that they were older, veteran leaders with stature who could handle Diggs in the locker room, knowing when to let him go and how to bring him back? They're gone, who stands up to him when they need someone to?
Diggs thinks he’s the greatest receiver in the NFL. Why can’t we all see that? I followed his act closely when he was with the Vikings. Saw all the gifts, saw the on-field petulance, saw the attention-seeking tweets, heard about his skipping practice and skipping out of locker rooms after defeats or when he couldn’t face the music he himself created. Diggs is slated to be in Houston for one year. He’ll burn bridges there, too.
Great to see ownership is actively taking steps to clear a path to win now. Restock with younger “clutch”performers. The Bills, led by a rejuvenated Allen, will be better THIS SEASON in the playoffs … when it really matters.
