Typically, a new general manager and new head coach stroll into town with a press conference on Day 1 and a wrecking ball on Day 2. This was not the case in Minnesota where Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O’Connell took a look at the Vikings roster and saw a team ready to compete. Now.

So, Go Long flew to the Midwest this week to examine this all. I’m in Minnesota to learn more about the Vikes’ new direction, and you can expect full coverage in the coming weeks. What a fascinating team this is, a major departure from the rough end to the Mike Zimmer Era.
