Podcast: Leroy Hoard on the Browns of old, new and what to do with Baker Mayfield...
We're all about the 90s. So, to talk Browns — and so much more — we hang out with the team's former Pro Bowl running back. Leroy Hoard has some strong opinions, too.
Now, this was fun.
With the Cleveland Browns in the news this week, I figured it was worth checking in with a bashing running back of yesteryear: Leroy Hoard.
The former Pro Bowler led the Browns to an 11-5 record and a playoff win in 1994 and has countless memories to share on Art Modell and the franchise’s emotional relocation to Baltimore, the Buffalo Bills’ current stadium situation, head coach Bill Belichick, his 1998 Minnesota Vikings team that should’ve won it all and… Baker Mayfield.
This is quite a crossroads for the Browns. His thoughts on the starting quarterback may surprise you.
Hoard is a man with strong opinions and brings the heat for the full hour.
You can follow him on Twitter @BigMouthLeroy and hear him on the radio at 790 The Ticket in South Florida. We also caught up last season for this feature at Go Long ahead of Cleveland’s close loss to Kansas City in the playoffs.
As always, this podcast is fueled by our friends at Hamburg Brewing Company in Western New York. Be on the lookout for a live event soon — we’re hoping to meet subscribers at HBC for a game. If you enjoy the show, be sure to rate, review and share with a friend.

Thanks, everyone.
This was a very enjoyable podcast gents. Love the cutting back to the basics of what wins games and the business of the football QB deal.
"I'm doing that because I'm 21 and I don't have to go to school." Phrase of the Day. :)
