We’ve heard opinions all over the place on Jalen Hurts.

Both former quarterbacks make compelling arguments, too.

Where Hall of Famer Kurt Warner sees the best quarterback in the NFL — someone who’s reading the entire field — analyst Chris Simms believes the QB’s success is a direct product of the Eagles' system and all the Pro Bowlers around him.

Hurts is now in the Super Bowl. So, this seemed like the perfect time to place a call to the reporter who has seen every one of his professional snaps: The Athletic’s Zach Berman. We went to college together at Syracuse but, for my money, nobody covers the Eagles better than Berman. He’s dogged and creative — truly one of the best in the business.
