Podcast: Geno? Tua? Who challenges the top dogs this bonkers NFL season?
We know the Eagles, Bills and Chiefs are in a class of their own. So who else can realistically go on a championship run? We discuss on the podcast.
Right now, a team (and a quarterback) will make their move.
We all know the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are the toast of the NFL but — without question — another one of these 29 teams is bound to catch fire NBA Jam-style… but who?
That’s the theme of this week’s podcast at Fattey Beer Company with co-host Jim Monos.
In the AFC, Lamar Jackson’s 1-of-1 style is always hell on wheels to defend. We both agree Tua Tagovailoa could get the hot hand. The Dolphins QB will just need to do it in unsavory conditions at some point. And in the NFC, all Geno Smith has done is assert himself as the best deep-ball passer in the conference.
As always, Monos’ analysis around the most important position in sports is top notch. He had a feeling that 2021 class would disappoint. And, yes, he still sees Justin Fields as the best of the bunch.
Thanks for tuning in, everyone.
