Free agency essentially began Monday with teams allowed to reach agreements with players. This was when we figured Rodgers would make his decision. Yet, Monday came and passed… albeit with one Trey Wingo report saying a deal was done. Here on the podcast with longtime NFL personnel man Jim Monos, we discuss where things stand.
Also, Jimmy Garoppolo is off to Las Vegas.
Austin Ekeler wants more than $6.25 million this season, so he’s asking for a trade. Could Cincinnati or Miami make sense? After installing all of those fences as a kid, I don’t blame him. Get paid.
And Tremaine Edmunds is off to Chicago on a whopper of a contract. Buffalo wasn’t going to touch this number, but Buffalo will also need to ask itself hard questions this week.
