Podcast: Dissecting the State of the Packers and Bills
Buffalo and Green Bay staged what we all thought could be a Super Bowl preview. Instead, the 3-5 Packers have major organizational questions to answer.
In Buffalo, players and coaches would surely love to slam a Simulate to Postseason button. This is a team equipped to win it all. The regular season is mostly about staying healthy and fine-tuning around the edges. Hey, trading for Alvin Kamara would be fun but there’s no need for the team to do anything at the deadline.
In Green Bay? There are major questions to answer.
If Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur stayed this committed to the run, there’s a good chance the Packers would’ve defeated the Giants, Jets and Commanders. Alas, it was not enough in Orchard Park and the team is now 3-5. It’s strange to see a team with a four-time MVP slamming away with the run down three scores. The Packers are losing ground in the NFC. We discuss the team’s organizational direction.
While this episode is Bills- and Packers-heavy, we do touch on some other games. (Keep an eye on those Saints.)
