Are we sure nobody wants to trade a first for Jordan Love?

I think I read someone (maybe Bob) say that Love is/was better than any of this year's class. Even if someone did give up a 1st/2nd for Love, the Pack would probably have to use a 2nd day pick to get another developmental QB to work on.

If someone offers a 2 or 1 or 2 next year for Love, DEAL!! Draft a development QB. I would take Corral or even Ridder in Rounds 2 or 3.

I think someone might bite on Love in some combination that involved a couple of second rounders back. Seattle at 40,41 with later picks from the Pack to even it out?

Highly doubt the Packers trade him. I would be willing to give 2:1 odds that this is Rodgers' last year as a Packer.

While Rodgers leaving next year wouldn't be a complete disaster from a salary cap standpoint, such a departure could end Gutey's tenure as GM because then not taking what Denver offered was a serious mistake.

My only theory as to why Rodgers came back is that the Packers intended to keep him for the balance of his career, which could be a three to five year timeline. If that wasn't the plan, and it was all to go all in in 2022, then the front office was really stupid because without Adams, that is a big ask.

If that's the case, I really hope they trade Love.

2 things I found funny in this article

1) Out of the 5 worst QB drafts, you end up with Favre and Brady

2) I think I read "This guy is the one most likely to bust" under like 5 different names.

Favre's senior season was after his car accicent/abdominal surgery and teams were leary of him. Still went in the second round. And his personality probably turned off some coaches and GMs. Nobody had Brady pegged as the GOAT. Literally nobody...probably not even Tom. It's an inexact science at best.

Favre also did everything he could to drink himself out of the league. I don't know if he succeeds anywhere but where he landed in Green Bay.

Love this series. McGinn is a gem.

Good year not to be betting the farm on a QB. All things being equal (and they seem to be for top prospects) I'll take guy with the highest Wonderlic test and hope for slow and measured progress in a QB friendly system.

Funny how scouts are saying Willis doesn't have the mental intangibles but Willis' Wonderlic was a 32. He would look damn good in a Steelers uniform; Pittsburgh might actually be patient enough with him too.

Tyler: Pretty certain Jack Coan is from Sayville, NY not NC.

That's what happens when you're an afterthought.

Picket and Willis will make it. The others I'm not sure about. I wouldn't touch Corral in the 1st, much like Zach Wilson someone will convince themselves he's the answer.
