I have nothing personally against Mr. Doubs and his family. I’m glad he made it to the NFL. However, I don’t understand why he stepped out of bounds when he caught that first half pass down the right sideline from Love in Saturday evening’s playoff game at San Francisco. He had plenty of room to cut up field, either inside the pursuit or stretch it down the sideline, and he stepped out of bounds with a defender five yards away from him. It’s tackle football, isn’t it? You can’t concede real estate, especially in playoff games.
