Seriously, Tyler, how long do you think Love is going to be able to get away from launching those balloons and having them fall harmlessly into the arms of his receivers? I heard he’s already talked to you about being his presenter at the HOF ceremony in Canton.

Green Bay’s Tucker Kraft is the best tight end in football right now. Size, hands, speed, shiftiness and blow torch competitiveness. I wonder what our friend Bob McGinn had to say about him pre-draft? Maybe it’s on this Ty and Bob Pod.

Packers caught a big break when they weren’t called for an obvious offsides on a crucial third down—I think it was on Pittsburgh’s first drive of the third quarter. Rodgers had a fit when the flag wasn’t thrown. One yellow hanky should have found the ground. The Packers seem to get one or two or three squishy calls a game. With in-game betting going on, one wonders how many players, on-field officials, and New York play review people are playing it straight and saying no to the easy money from gamblers? It only takes one or two players or officials in a game to influence the spread or tilt the outcome of game. Right now it’s just an NBA problem … Right now.

For starters, Love has just 2 ints in his last 14 regular season games combined. That doesnt just happen by accident. Clearly taking care of the ball is important to him and he only takes calculated risks as both those "risky" throws on Sunday were to big guys (6'4" Watson and 6'5" Kraft) being single covered by much smaller db's.

As for the bit about the Packers getting lucky for the no-call on the offsides, did you miss the no-call false start on the Steelers first td? The fricken left tackle (who was pull blocking to the right) was about a full second early and looked like a tight end going in motion. And this was on a td bro. How about the bullshit holding call on Nixon on the play Evan Williams made an awesome pass breakup which saved that same td drive for the Steelers? The bad calls went both ways so dont act like the Packers just got lucky.

The narrative you're trying to paint here has no basis in reality. This is a 5-1-1 team thats just 2 blocked kicks away from being 7-0. Deal with it.

Take it easy, Francis. It's just a silly game that causes short- and long-term harm, including CTEs.

Your hero was sloppy at home vs Carolina. Should have been pick sized, too. Green Bay needs a quarterback.
