I got lucky and my credit card didn't work on the Athletic renewal so I came straight here the minute I saw that Bob was here. He was why I went to the Athletic in the first place. I've based my entire football world on Bob's teachings. Good luck, Tyler!
Hadn't yet pulled the trigger on subscribing to Go Long despite being a big fan of Ty's work, but the return of a Bob and Ty podcast was a shut up and take my money moment.
I'll never forget when you both reviewed on the MJS pod every play of the 2014-15 NFC Championship game and I found myself hoping for a different result.
Wow! What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I've been missing my dose of Bob. Now I find out that I'm going to get it in a place that I've already signed up at.
Looking forward to every pound of it. I'm telling you, Bob, you need to put it all together for a book about the draft. It's going to be great hearing your voice again....And does one drink hot coffee through a straw or is it the cold creamy sweet fancy pants coffee you've been drinking with a straw?
Wow, what a heartwarming story Bob. I have been a Packer fan since the 1967 Ice Bowl (1st game I remember watching w/ my Dad), and a Bills fan since 1968, when my hometown Bills drafted OJ. They are still my favorite teams. So glad you & Ty were able to reconnect,& I can't wait to read/listen to all the great additional content. Welcome!
Bob, I’ve followed you for quite some time and always looked forward to your articles. Being from Madison, I read the Milwaukee Journal and the Green Bay Press-Gazette sports sections daily. Welcome to the hippest NFL coverage in the world! You will be an incredible value asset as we Go Long!
Green Bay Press Gazette, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Bob McGinn Football, The Athletic, and now Mr. McGinn's long and illustrious career continues on Tyler's site, Go Long. I'm thrilled. I'm lucky. As much as I love the games, I can't wait for Tuesdays. Thank you Bob. Thank you both! Colin
Oh, man, this is incredible!!! My two favorite sportswriters back together again!!!! 2012-2014 podcasts were appointment listening for me, and really my introduction to podcasts in general. I didn’t really get the attraction over radio before then. And I love long-form journalism, and feel like it’s dying out, so it’s great to have a site with two really well-connected, respected, and talented journalists who actually do some work to learn something and them share it / teach it, as opposed to just popping off their click-bait “takes”. So excited to keep reading Bob’s draft stuff on here; to have his evaluations of the Packers games, and to have these two guys doing a podcast again!!!!
i wish i had known bob wasn't with The Athletic, i wouldn't have renewed my subscription. I can't wait to read all things McGinn.

Great to have you, Steve. So ecstatic to have Bob and attack this season head-on. Thank you!
Very, very, VERY kind of you to say, Steve ... we won't let you down!
Bob, look forward to listening to your work with Tyler. The question I have is how do you sort all of those files since 1985 in your basement?

Great recall! What a pod that was. To this day, that game blows my mind. I don’t think we’ll see anything like it again.
So grateful to have you — and everyone here — and cannot wait to talk all things Packers and NFL on the podcast.

Tyler, are you guys going to do game stories and is Bob going to be doing those really cool editorials?? Two of the best writers on planet Earth
Just signed up for Go Long just for Bob.
