Happy Hour Replay: Vince Williams on his future, Antonio Brown and kicking ass in today's NFL
The veteran linebacker didn't hold back in his chat with Go Long subscribers Friday night.
Good morning, everyone! Hope you all had a glorious, bracket-busting weekend.
I just wanted to share the replay of Vince Williams’ Happy Hour visit above for those who’d like to catch it. Williams was fantastic on all things Steelers, his NFL future, his opinion of Antonio Brown behind the scenes (it may surprise you) and the direction of the sport itself (this also may surprise you).
As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve been tweaking the times of Happy Hours each week to accomodate the players who’ve come on but definitely let me know if there’s a specific day or time that works for you. Typically, we’ve been rollin’ at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. (EST) on Friday nights. And typically, our guest sticks around for 30-40 minutes and then we all end up BS’ing as a group for another hour or so.
Cannot thank the crew enough for sticking around this past Friday. What a fun time.
Through these spring months, I’ll continue mixing up our newsletter cadence a bit, too, depending on what’s happening around the NFL. Never hesitate to let me know what sorts of stories you want to read via email at golongtd@gmail.com.
First up, this week, will be a piece on the most physically freakiest of all freak prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft: Josh Imatorbhebhe. I think you’ll enjoy this conversation and I’ll try getting him on a Happy Hour, too.
In case you missed it, here’s last week’s takeout on Colts cornerback Kenny Moore who fought through depression in New England and injuries in Indianapolis to become the best player most of America does not know. Moore was strikingly honest on life as a Patriot.
The latest episode of the Go Long Podcast can be downloaded right here as well and we’ll be live at Hamburg Brewing Tuesday night to record the next ep if you’d like to come say hello. WNY’s own Chris Manhertz, who just signed with the Jaguars, will be joining us on the Zoom.
Hoodies ‘n crews will be shipping out in waves ASAP. Greatly appreciate those who took advantage of our special. If you’d still like to purchase a sweatshirt for $35, just shoot me an email or a DM on Twitter @TyDunne. You can also extend your annual subscription for a year to get a hoodie or crew. Just let me know which option works best.
Thanks, everyone!
