Happy Hour: Let's hang out with Warren Moon
Join us Friday night. The Pro Football Hall of Famer has stories to share.
Let’s welcome on a Hall of Famer.
This Friday night, at 6 p.m. (EST), quarterback Warren Moon will hang out on Zoom with our Go Long VIP members.
Thinking about upgrading? A VIP subscription gets you a Go Long hoodie, a signed copy of “The Blood and Guts: How Tight Ends Save Football,” and full Happy Hour access with current and former NFL players.
Moon, of course, is one of the legends at the position. He threw one of the prettiest balls we’ll ever see in piloting the Houstin Oilers’ run-and-shoot offense. Moon amassed nearly 50,000 passing yards in 17 seasons, was the NFL’s offensive player of the year in 1990 and made nine Pro Bowls with three different teams. Oh, he led the Edmonton Eskimos to five Grey Cup titles in the CFL before all of this, too. Few quarterbacks in the sport’s history aged this well.
You’ve seen him quoted in these pages, back to our Josh Allen roundtable and “Tua Time” series.
Now, let’s hear Moon’s wild stories from the field. He’s as open and as sharp as it gets from an all-time great.
Ask him anything you’d like.
We want to bring you as close as possible to the sport. It’s been a busy offseason on the Happy Hour with Isaiah McKenzie, T.J. Lang, Jamal Lewis, Rob Johnson, Jamaal Williams and others all letting loose.
You can follow Moon on Twitter @WMoon1. Hope to see you there.
