Good evening! Let’s get together for a Super Bowl Week bash, shall we?

Our next Happy Hour is set and this promises to be an all-timer.

The electric Jamaal Williams will hang out on Zoom with Go Long subscribers this Thursday night at 9 p.m. (EST), and 7 p.m. (MST). I’ll be with Williams in-person at his offseason home here in Arizona and we’ll fire up a virtual Happy Hour to welcome you in from all over the country.

Good luck finding anyone as downright fun as Williams in the NFL. He’s had Packers fans, Lions fans, all football fans howling from Day 1… even if a little hip-swiveling tends to hurt his checkbook. What a 2022 season this was for Williams. He eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing and led the league with 17 rushing touchdowns.

Most of all, he helped transform the Lions into an actual NFC threat — his goal all along.

Back in the summer, Williams called his shot at our site. He was fed up with how everyone viewed the Detroit Lions and wanted to change perception for good. Here’s that conversation, icymi. The man did not mince words. Both Williams and his uncle/trainer, Luke Neal, have an exceptional life story. We all got to know each other before the Green Bay Packers even drafted Williams out of BYU.
