Grew up reading Bob and Tom. Going to be a sad day when Tom decides to begin his well deserved retirement.

If the Packers can get the second half of 2023 version of Jordan Love and someone steps up as a consistent pass rusher, the sky is the limit for Green Bay. Excited to get this season going.

Thank you. Like Bob, Tom will have a think before answering questions, as he's not satisfied with easy answers. His game day blogs are excellent: no kowtowing and just sharp observations. I enjoyed how he talked about the lack of socializing and that friends are those in the business. I think that goes for most jobs. You make friends with those you do meaningful work with, and most of our time is spent working. You meet with a friend after a long period of time and it's fun catching up and getting nostalgic. But meet with them a second time and there's not much to talk about.

Tom mentioned needing 5 stars and that the Packers had 3-4 near blue chippers: Jacobs, McKinney (minus the tackling:?) and James, who could possibly be the best player on the team in a year. Love is not a blue chipper yet, but I think we have to put Zach Tom in that group. Tom also spoke openly that Gary is not as good as outsiders might think, and we Packer fans have known this for awhile. Kraft is likely the next in line to break out and then Golden if he stays healthy.

Ty---or Tally?---these short interviews are really satisfying. We get pieces of articles that were on the cutting floor of the mind or the newsroom. Thanks. You do a good job of allowing that wait time that is necessary for true gems to come out of the interviewee. Same thing good teachers do: just wait a bit. Great ideas shouldn't be puked out.
