March Madness circa 1983 New Orleans, Keith Smart will eventually hit the baseline jumper to win the title for Indiana U but the highlight of my very 1st trip to NOLA is the unexpected hurricane warning that hit the city. Everything shuts down, people are told to stay indoors and my hotel decides to throw a “Hurricane Party”, $10 all you can eat crawfish and all you can drink hurricanes. My 19 y/o self had never seen so many happy drunks in a small space and it started a lifelong love of everything New Orleans!

That’s all you have to say about JC Tretter?? The union has been a hot mess express ever since he hand picked Lloyd Howell to be the ED. The fact that his mistakes are so well documented and the players just put him back in power??!! It sucks. So yeah, great take about a former player being the ED. Can’t wait to see his next scandal.

It’s a long offseason.

We absolutely need to discuss this further. The union is a disaster.

I wanted to share Matt Schaub’s piece again more than anything.

As a diehard Vikings fan, I pray the K1 situation works out, but I won't be surprised if doesn't. I live in the Phoenix area and thus had an up close look at him for several years. At his highest, he's elite. At his lowest, he's...not very good to say the least. He was very unpopular with the few Cardinals "fans" that exist in the area (PHX is mostly Cowboys, Packers, and Bears fans) for a reason.

That said, the Vikings are tiers above the Cardinals when it comes to organizational competence, and K1 has never had a coach like KOC, so maybe that will bring out the best in him. Either way, I could see this being a massive success or a massive disappointment. Neither result would surprise me.
