I find it amusing that this is the 2nd time today where the phrase "Brady was in demand" by other teams was uttered. I can find zero evidence that the other 4 teams that interviewed him had him still in the mix. I think this i something the Bills will try and push to make it seem like he was a hot commodity, when in reality he is just continuity b/c our leaders couldn't think outside the box. Do we really believe that Udinsky or Kubiak aren't equal or better candidates?
Well...definitely an interesting hire. Good info about him doing well on the CEO part of the interview. Do think he needs to continue to evolve offensively, seem to remember a lot of talk about their offensive pass schemes especially being very predictable at times.
Truth is, no one knows how he'll do. There's always risk in having a first-time head coach. Didn't really like how the decision to move on from McDermott played out, but it's past now. Trashing the hire just doesn't make a ton of sense from this view from 50,000 feet, it's wait and see time.
Way back in the 2000 hiring cycle, Gregg Williams blew the Bills away with his organizational plan. We thought we were getting the next great coach, and he was gone in 3 years, having alienated pretty much everyone.
We are comfortably never getting to the Super Bowl!

I mean can Joe Brady become the next offensive guru? Maybe. All that speculation just for Joe Brady to get the job. Classic Bills!
