The Stefon Diggs trade. The Keon Coleman pick. Letting Josh Be Josh. His opinion of the head coach. Go Long sits down with the Buffalo Bills' general manager for an hour to get answers on everything.
Last year, Tyler went long on what many Bill's fans called a "hit piece" against current coach Sean McDermott, yet the GM sits down with Tyler and opens up to him. Gotta give Tyler solid props.
Great article! I’ve always felt Beane keeps his feelings under wraps. It was great to get a glimpse into what makes him tick. We as fans can criticize all we want, but these guys truly eat and sleep the game. One thing I never thought about was his comment about bringing in new talent and how these new team members don’t have the scars of the big games that we’ve lost. Makes a lot of sense!
I think Beane wanted to do this interview as proactive damage management ahead of the coming year. That piece of Tyler's last year must have been a Buster Douglas-surprise-knockout piece for the Bills GM and coach. My guess is that this interview can't help but soften Tyler's approach to the Bills a little this year. And hey, when you score an interview like this as an independent journalist, you have to show appreciation with what you write or choose not to write.

I was pumped when Tyler teased he was dropping an interview with an unnamed GM. Given his connections, was hoping the GM was Aaron Rodgers.
